Marcos Fernandez, born and raised in New York, graduated from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law in 2011. In addition to being a member of the New York State bar, Mr. Fernandez is duly admitted to practice before both the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
As an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Steven E. Rosenfeld, P.C., Mr. Fernandez zealously represents the interests of clients in family law matters, including divorce, child support, and maintenance proceedings. Mr. Fernandez also handles personal injury and commercial litigation matters. Utilizing his extensive litigation skills, Mr. Fernandez works tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for his clients.
Before coming to the Law Offices of Steven E. Rosenfeld, Mr. Fernandez focused primarily on commercial litigation and collection matters at the law firm of Klapper & Fass, appearing regularly before the Courts of New York on behalf of various corporations and creditors. He has negotiated numerous settlement agreements and also won large monetary judgments for his clients.
Mr. Fernandez also interned as a summer clerk with the Honorable Betty Owen Stinson of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Bronx County. While in law school, Mr. Fernandez was a Comments Editor for the Penn State Environmental Law Review, the founder and president of the Sports Legal Society at Penn State Law, and the recipient of the CALI Award for Torts.
